Hello all. Ive recently bought a TSR8 off Ebay in Sydney under the guise "bid with confidence", supposed to be mint etc but theres some issues. ive had a sensor glued and re wired on one of the tension arms so far. Had this thing running for about 4 days and no joy. chewing up tape(shedding ATR magnetics, which i now know is the wrong tape)
Ive given the heads a really good clean, ive turned the guides around near the heads away from the flat spots, and im getting my counter roller re rubbered.
Anyone know of a good tape tech in Sydney. There must be someone!!!
