I was looking for what I could use on some things on my mixer to fill the empty inputs and outputs. I sometimes drum to music from my mixer, but figured I could run it in the tape-in on my mixer and play from there. Well, I made it work, 'cept it sounds like crap. The mixer is not the greatest, does the job for me though (Behringer Eurorack802) I'm wondering if it's the mixer (I doubt it) or just a crappy patchcord? I don't know how old it is to be honest with you, I have tons of different cords from Radioshack my dad has gotten over the years. I can't find any other cords to work with at the moment, but do you guys have any thoughts? Later

Well I found another cord, better, but still pretty bad. I assume it is shitty cords? I mean it's Radioshack so...

Well let me tell you this, I've bought cord from Rat Shack and they lasted 2 hours!!!

Two freaking hours! ARGHH!!!!!

Of course that was back in 1980 when I wanted to hook up a Kmart electric guitar to the aux inputs of my dad's Zenith reciever.

Could you be a little more specific than 'sounds like crap'. Is the gain too low, too high, ground buzzes?

For some reason, it sounds fine now, I think maybe I didn't have the patchcord completely in or something silly like that. Sorry Tex, it sounded like the gain was really high or something.

Don't sweat it. Happens to the best of us.

Now go do 10 'Stairway to Heaven's and 5 'Freebird's as pennance.
