Heyla aloha! I have a Scarlett Focusrite 8i6 coming in the mail tomorrow, and realize I may not have the right cables for the job. So I'm just double checking.

I'd like to use the Scarlett to record into my Tascam 22-4, which has 4 RCA inputs and 4 RCA outputs. The cables I have are 2 RCA to 2 1/4":

Now, I should have these cables instead, shouldn't I?

Or will the ones I have work? Any help is appreciated for this absolute rookie!

oops, I see now this should be in the Analog Recording thread! My bad!!

The unbalanced inputs should work. According to the Scarlett user guide,

11. LINE INPUTS 3 to 6 – four balanced analogue line inputs on ¼” (6.35 mm) jack sockets. Connect further line level sources here, using either ¼” TRS (balanced) or TS (unbalanced) jack plugs.

Thanks, Rich. This is probably the friendliest forum outta all of them. Appreciate it, man. Cheers.
