Has anyone tried this mixer? I am looking for a small compact mixer so that I can use hardware compressors and effect processors for processing incoming signals from my vocal mic's, so good pre's are a plus. From what I have researched, I have not found a way to use outboard gear with a presonus firebox, without using another preamp. So my plan is to use the preamps in the mixer, along with the other processors using the aux send/return, then running the main out's into my presonus firebox,--->computer. I get the impression that Behringer mixer preamps aren't as good as the Mackie's, at least in this price range, so feel free to school me if you have iny info. Thanx in advance.

I can't help I'm afraid...

For the money though, I'd just go and get one and if it's not as good as you thought trade it in or sell it on e-bay.

Ok, I have abolsutely no experience of this unit, in fact I don't even own a mixer.

But...I've read that the Tapco have the same pre-amps as Mackie mixers (Mackie ARE Tapco, so same technology), which have a good reputation.

Also, it is often said that Behringer pre-amps are very noisy.

DISCLAIMER - I have no experience with these products. I can vouch for Yamaha digital desks because I've used them for nearly 10 years, but the others? No. The 02R96 is a great desk though...

Hi guys

I have a behringer Eurorack 802 which I got for £40.00 at Digital vIllage, it does the job.

But I am now thinking of buying the Tapco 6 as I hear they have much better preamps, and very good reviews.
