hey frank?
one more left. I came from a music shop (here in belgium) and they show me a microbass ll (ebs) like a solution for my line bass guitar takes.)straight into the analog inputs of my M-Audio 2496 and into Cubase)
what do you think about it?

read you soon-

The only experience I have with a DI box is with an ancient Hot Dot box that I only used for live performances back in the 70s. I was never crazy about it but I guess that a lot of progress has been made since then. Maybe someone else with recent experience will read this and answer your question. I've always either miced an amp or plugged directly into a preamp for recording. With both choices, I'd take the preamp every time. If money is a factor, you might look at the Studio Projects VTB-1. It also gets a lot of good mentions here on the forum and sells for less that $100 here in the US. Some have said that it works well for DI as well as a mic preamp.

thanks a lot frank. I´m cheking on the net Studio Projects VTB-1. also I found a aguilar
db900 at 375. i´m wondering how difrence can I feel on my ap2496 out to a pair of samson resolve 65a(active). but I don´t care if I´ll not get that difrence if that difrence really exist on the mix.
