Any ideas as to how I can rein in the splash cymbals in my overheads? They're not the greatest mic's (Audix F15's at the moment, but I have tried AKG Perception 220's with the same results). A very low ceiling-7'6" but have Aurilex Tri-Xpanders on the mic's, so they're pretty well isolated from reflections off of the ceiling. I've tried X-Y position from behind the kit, and just about every position I can think of. If I get to the point where the splashes are controlled, the crashes are almost non-existant.
