What do you all think of Tama Drums especially the Starclassic Line?

I've got a 7-piece Swingstar set that I love. If that's good enough for me, the Starclassics are probably amazing.

You can listen to them in action in any of the songs linked to my sig.

My old housemate bought a set of Starclassics a few month before he moved. They sounded great and looked even better. We especially liked the tones from the bass drum. TAMA's hardware is great too -I've had a Rockstar kit since 1999 and it still, um, rocks.

So two thumbs up for TAMA.

:D :D cardboard boxes through & through :D :D

better off with a set of flats

I've got a Tama Starclassic Birch set (EFX Fusion model) and I love them. I highly recommend them. If you listen to some of songs on my nowhereradio.com page (under Returners) you can hear them.

I've got a set of birch starclassics in the fusion sizes, and I give them the thumbs up. Bass drum is just awesome. The higher toms lack some body, but i think this is due to the fact that they use die cast hoops on all the drums. Other than that I have no complaints. Starcast mounting system is nice as well, super easy to remove.

All in all a great set of drums.

When I ordered my shells I asked that the bass drum not have mounting holes put in it. I hang all my toms on stands. I like to think it makes a difference!!

They did it with no questions asked, and I felt like I was getting a personalized kit. I'll buy from Tama again.

Sweet. I love Tama. I don't exactly know why, but I just feel loyal for some reason :D.

i think they sound great...sometimes the snare needs the right head in my opinion...but they sound great
