As you can hear with my old soundclick cover songs, some of them are pretty rough compared to what I'm doing now. I mean really, they suck. But that's okay. I learned from them. I got better, and I'm still getting better and having fun with it. I didn't want to waste original songs on learning how to record only to have redo them later if I want them to sound good. This forum helped immensely. Not only did I get useful feedback from different ears, I read people's comments on other people's songs too. You can learn a lot by comparing what you hear to what someone else hears. And then you get to know who may or may not know what the fuck they're talking about. So really, just participate and keep learning and trying things and you'll be fine.
 
Sounds awesome. Hey, hopefully Bret will die and you can replace him.

Great stuff man! I'm jealous--I'm 6 years younger than you and I was already married with children in the late 80's. That looks like fun!

Haha, sounded good. I hate to tell you, but I think the drums in the beginning are a tiny bit off time. Other than that everything was fine. Nice solo.

P.S. You've probably answered a million times, but do you just use the Cockos' plugs? If you use any other free VST's please tell me! I plan on switching to Reaper. I have my own little stash of VST's, but I'd like to expand. Thanks!
