I got the DL today. Way better than the stream, of course...I can hear the cymbals better, and the snare has a better crack to it.

I don't know how you can improve this, as it sounds pretty good to me, but I'm sure you have some ideas to tweak with.

Good luck man...this is one of my faves you have done. It has a great vibe.

You are more than welkom RAMI. I love to listen to your work. It puts me in a playful mood. :D

I am aware of your blending of styles and I like that about your music. I just think this song is definitely a dark baby all the way through...(this suggestion had nothing to do with how it affects me when in the dark stages either. )

Ahhhh...I know the term rim shot...but since it sounded like you were hitting the rim or another stick...rather than the rim and the skin, I wasn't sure what to call it. I'm not a drummer you know. :D

Hey RAMI...you do excellent guitar work. It amazes me just how well, being that you are a drummer ....errr... :p Actually, I love drummers...the ones from Canada especially. ;) Where would we be without em? Now I await an onslaught of drummer jokes.

Oh and how come you don't have the collab you did with me listed on your site for others to hear..?

I would download your song, but am waiting to upgrade my PC and with this Death Metal Polka thingy, I have been pushing my limits as is....

You are one talented dude RAMI.

Love ya

Thanx, man....Yeah, the streams are 96kps, so they're convenient for a quick listen, but don't sound great.

Hey True...If you have a copy of that collab, I'll put it up. I'd love to have you on my site.
There are a few collobs I did that I lost somewhere along the way, probably while changin OS's. I wish I had them all, I'd put them up.

Thanx True....and if you have an MP3 of it, send it to me. xoxo

Do you find certain individual tracks too compressed? Or do you feel that the whole mix is too squashed? For some reason, I had to limit this more than usual just to get it up to an acceptable volume, so you might have picked that out.
I'd say it's more individual tracks. The bits that sound too compressed to me don't seem to correspond to overall mix intenisty. Drums sound pretty compressed overall, as do the darker gtrs and the more loudly sung vox.

Thanx buddy. That kind of info is priceles.....because I'm still winging it as I go along. This helps. Very much.

Dunno about anybody else but for me the more I like a tune the more I usually want to toss up ideas about how make it even better - not that those ideas are necessarily right, heh. Just one perspective.

Check your mail RAMI.

It's still posted on my Soundclick page too.

Thanks RAMI

It's well balanced, and I really really like the lead tone. The whole thing has an Alice Cooper vibe to it.

If'n I'm super critical, I'd like to hear some more variation in the rhythm guitars, and I'm not sure what I even mean by that. They seem to kind of drone throughout the song...punctuating in places would be cool, but it might suck too, so again...

...nice

Hey RAMI,
It's really, really good. I like it when you extend your territorial limits. Darkness can be so warm.
How many tracks have you put in the possibles vs probables selection tray for the new CD?

Chris and Ray.....I totally forgot about this thread. I'm sorry. Ray must have dug it out of page 12 or something. :D:

Chris, I wanted a sort of droning or hypnotic feel in the verses on that 6/4 timing, which is why it's repetitive. But I see what you're saying...It almost sounds like one pattern looped. Maybe more variation in the main riff would be something to look into. Thanx for the listen, buddy.

Ray, Thanx cobber. I have about 12 tunes finished (though I'll probably re-mix them all). I want to get more than I need for a CD and then go through the painful task of killing a few.
