Take 2 of this metal/rock song!

This is my second take of this song I've made. I had a thread earlier and was gonna edit it but couldn't seem to figure out how!

Anyway here's a like:

Take 1 is the initial take(not as good in my opinion) and then take 2.

Tell me what you think. Keep in mind I haven't made one single adjustment EQ wise or any mixing. That's the next step possibly. It sounds pretty good as is to me.

For not touching eq or anything it sounds pretty good. The transitions on the drums feels odd in some spots though, other than that it sounds good. I'd like to hear it once you have it mixed and everything
 
Things are pretty out of time here. Not sure what kind of feedback you are looking for given that you indicate you haven't really done anything to it at all yet. Realistically, it's not going to matter how well mixed this is if it remains as out of time as it is, so that would be the starting point I would recommend.
 
Not really, other than playing in time. Use a click track or metronome if you are not already. Seriously, being in time is just about the most important part of music, it completely changes the feel and sound of everything. If you can't play your parts in time then you are not ready to record music.
 
Yea I can play in time, I get lazy with it at times though. I think the main cause for this is that I just make up a riff "at the moment" when recording and haven't quite practiced it enough so I think to much about the next note and loose timing. I'll go back through and record the whole thing again, and probably come up with a completely different song.
