Sytek MPX-4Aii vs. Trident s20?

Does anyone have experience with both of these preamps? If so, how would you rate the sound quality of both? I am looking to buy one of these units for around 600-700 used and I'm wondering if the trident is really worth it seeing as it has 2 channels and the Sytek has 4.

The sytek is more affordable than the S20, and personally, I like the way the Sytek sounds better. The s20 is not really bad, but I certainly do not get that Trident feeling when using it. I find that the s20 gets very harsh and abrasive with high frequencies, but the low mids do have a cool kind of slow mushy sound. The Sytek is a good sort of neutral preamp. It's certainly not "clean", but has a kind of natural feel to it with a touch of forward mids.
 
Are you from around Chicago? I've been noticing that Trident on Craigslist. I'm hoping to buy one (or more) of those Sytek units at some point too.
