synth plug in issue

Hi,

Using Cubase sx 3.

One song. two snyth parts.

Using the same plug in (ie. "a1"... "Italo Bass T") for both parts but would like to change the attack on one of the parts.

Every time i change the attack on one channel, it changes it on the other too.

I reckon theres a simple explaination i just cant figure it out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it 1 instance of the plugin? In other words, is it 2 midi tracks routed to that plugin?

(btw, for anyone who wants to jump in, SX3 does not have instrument tracks).
