hi all,

is it posible to sync the multitrack function Cool Edit and Cubase trhrough SMPTe, of through Midi Time Code?

I use Cubase to sequence, but I hate the audio section of it. I'm pretty sure it is possible to sync the two, but I do not really have an idea how to do it.

Neither do I, but I know it's possible for CEP to be an MTC slave. I had occasion to ask Synt support about that the other day, although I was slaving it to an external source. But software shouldn't be any different.

Should it ?

you should be able to do this with MidiYoke or Hubis Loopback device. They're virtual MIDI cables used to connect software together via virtual midi ports. Are you wanting to do all your sequencing in Cubase, then send it all into CEP to be recorded as audio? I don't use Cubase, but I do use Sonar, and when I'm done with my MIDI tracks, I just record them as waves in Sonar, then open them up in CEP. works for me..good luck
