syncing tracks on this

Per everyone suggestion I downloaded the demo. Oh yes it is nice and has some great features, s'pecially for the buck. But I am dying trying to sync up multitracks. Now I know I may miss a beat once in a bit, but I swear I played the same chords each track. why does the second, third and fourth tracks have a tendancy of lagging more and more as the chart goes on? the first bar or two are great.. all of me sound like a band, but by the end of the friggin thing we are all out of sorts.

Don't you have that Celeron 433 system? You shouldn't be having severe lag problems with only a few tracks. You are listening to the tracks already recorded while you're recording new tracks...right?

Anyway, since nobody has responded.... I've never had to deal with this, but I believe this question is addressed in the FAQ. There's a lag offset value that can be set...or something. Check the FAQ and if that doesn't help, try posting to the messageboard at http://www.fasoft.com I guarantee your question will be answered there.

Well hot diggity batman... it works! I dug through the sites and sounds to find the error of my ways. In case anyone actually cares the answer was fairly simple. Two sound cards. The dude at the main N-trac site mentioned it as a viable possibility and lo and behold, it's true. seemingly using two cards can botch it up just a mili-jammie, which adds up by the end of the tune. Some rig-a-ma-roll about silicon tranfers from one to the next. simply put I was using one card as my playback and the other as the recording device. I told the program to pay strick attention to but one card and whamo.. all of me could keep a beat (as well as one can hope). So make a mental note in case y'all bump in to this mild irk.
