Sync'ing Reason

How in the world do i sync the Arpeggiator on a JP8000 to Reason?

This is Reason 3.0, Roland JP8000 synth, THrough a MOTU 828 (imac g4)

You tried using Rewire to sync your reason to your mac?
 
rewire syncs reason to DAW's. By nature of the midi interface in the 828, they are sync'd. This is probably a midi sync issue, but the JP is set to midi sync on and reason i thought outputs midi sync by default.
 
AFAIK, reason does not send midi clock. If it is set to external sync, it expects a midi clock, it does not send one
 
hmm, then is syncin the arp on the jp8000 impossible? i suppose the only way then would be to have reason rewired to daw, and have the daw act as the master clock, and output sync back to the controller.
