synching/sequencing in CEP

I've had a few guest musicians play on my forthcoming LP.
When they send me a WAV of their solos, etc. I have the elusive job of synching up the parts to get together...

I've found I can do a decent job by copy/pasting the WAV in different spots and paste by guesswork.

The mouse is stubborn when it comes to "dragging" a file to the right spot.

Is there a way to just "tap" it over to the left or right to synch things up more precisely?

Found it. (snap to ruler - fine)
It helps to bust out a manual once in awhile
