synching samples

need some tips on how to synch samples.

I am trying to synch a 5 second vocal sample to a beat. I don't know how to do it. Any help appreciated. I am using Ableton Live and FL Studio.

What are you using? A pc, is so, what program are you using. Or are you trying to use hardware...........pM
