sync lost with Quatafire 610

Dear readers,

I'm going nuts. I hooked on a qf 610 to my pc, installed drivers and first used it on winamp. I have sound, but it has many hicups. Then I used it under cubasesx. Same problem. According to asio multimedia test I have a problem with the sync. It keeps loosing it.

I am using Service pack1, the latest drivers and firware of the qf 610.

The strange thing is that it plays back audio fine on a videofile. Got the feeling that it uses the sync of the frames instead of the samples.

Anyone a clue?

Sorted it out yet? I was thinking about getting one myself but this doesn't sound good.

Hmm I have QuataFire 610 too but no problems like these. Sure I had latency problem when I first started Cubase SX. You have to change the default asio drivers to Quatafire asio 2.0 drivers in Cubase configuration panel.
