Transferring tracks from an external multitrack recorder via the digital SPDIF to a PC audiocard agan via the SPDIF IN, shall I record (on the software sequencer) track by track or all together ??
(I would like to have all the track still separated to make the mixing inside the PC .
If they are to be recorder one by one, I expect to have to make the sync between the multitrack and then PC sequencer: can i give it via the SPDIF connection or shall I mandatory have the MIDI link ??
I ask this because some audiocards like Terratec 24/96 do not have the MIDI on board.
