Hi Rami,
The intro bongos are cool sounding, but kinda dry and a bit bright to my ear. A little bit of wet and warm sprinkled lightly? I love the sound of the outro bongos!!!
The bass is thump thumpin' good.
I don't like the feedback that happens all through the first verse at all. It is way too loud.
Your vocals are some of the best I have heard from you for clarity and tone. You do a good Mick.
Those oooooo-oooooo back ups are like those little green and red sprinkles on the icing of a cake. They accentuate something already good to make it even better!!
The crowd sound you added sounds very authentic!! I don't think the cover would have been the same without it.
You are the man on the drums~!! I can't hear anything amiss with them. Great playing and love the tone!! The hi-hat work you do kicks some butt in this!!
You are getting so good on the guitar, I will have to call you axeman now, not just thumper. The solo's are great. The tone is good. The axe playing in the background doesn't seem to fit though. It sounds out of focus with the rest of the mix...whatever that means.

man, this is excellent. really is. whether you were trying to or not, you sound just like mick. the playing is excellent all the way around. i agree w/ true-eurt about the feedback in the first verse, but thats just personal taste. theres nothing at all wrong with it if you like it there. the guitar tones are awesome, the bass is great, and the drumming - as always - is superb. the production and mix sound perfect too. super-excellent job all-around.

Thanx alot True...Yeah, I wanted those bongos dry so that when I come in with everything else, it has a bigger effect. I think the problem is that on the original, it's congas, which sound a lot bigger. I only have a shitty pair of bongos. The shakers I used are 2 different size pepper shakers.
I listened to the feedback again this morning, I really didn't find it that loud, but I'll see if it bothers me with more listens.
The crowd sounds are from a live Stones album...I like it because you hear a girl saying "Paint it Black you Devil..." and anyone who knows that album knows that they go right into Sympathy after the clip I stole...So that's my little tribute to "Get yer ya-ya's Out".

Greg...thanx buddy...Actually, your version of "Paint it Black" inspired me to re-do this. I had done a version of this before, but after hearing you do "Paint it Black", I said I have to finish this one up. Thanx for all the comments. Thanx alot Eck. You're probably the person the most responible for me working on and improving my guitar sound. When I first did a version of this about a year ago, you kept trying to help me with my guitar sound, insisting there's something wrong. The rhythm guitar is super cool - you know how hard it is to play like Richards? You blend the rhythm/lead style well. Excellent job there.
Nice ooh oohs - just barely perceptible but still right there - nice mixing.
Cool interlude in there....gives it that true "live" or "60" feel to it.....
The guitar are very true to the original - nice playing and tone.

IDO: Thanx alot for your usual insight. The original studio version has no rythm guitar, it's all piano except for the solos. So all the rythm I'm playing is right off the "Get yer Ya Ya's Out" Live version. I'm glad it works. For that matter, the studio version has no drums either, so, when I go into the "whole band" part, that's all pretty much from the live version too. I love playing the rythm part to this tune and it was fun to learn. I'm glad most of you feel the feedback works. If anything, I find it too low, but I'll leave it ther because I want it subtle.
