Better bass sound than the original....and you're better looking than Jagger.... :D
I love your version...what else can I say? Drunk or not, you got this captured well...The sounds are cool.....

Nice job man.....

Hi Rami,

The intro bongos are cool sounding, but kinda dry and a bit bright to my ear. A little bit of wet and warm sprinkled lightly? :D I love the sound of the outro bongos!!!

The bass is thump thumpin' good.

I don't like the feedback that happens all through the first verse at all. It is way too loud.

Your vocals are some of the best I have heard from you for clarity and tone. You do a good Mick.

Those oooooo-oooooo back ups are like those little green and red sprinkles on the icing of a cake. They accentuate something already good to make it even better!!

The crowd sound you added sounds very authentic!! I don't think the cover would have been the same without it.

You are the man on the drums~!! I can't hear anything amiss with them. Great playing and love the tone!! The hi-hat work you do kicks some butt in this!!

You are getting so good on the guitar, I will have to call you axeman now, not just thumper. The solo's are great. The tone is good. The axe playing in the background doesn't seem to fit though. It sounds out of focus with the rest of the mix...whatever that means. :D

I have to say this again about the hi-hat....it kicks ass!! ;)

Great recording and great talent Rami!!!

Love ya
True :) :) :)

man, this is excellent. really is. whether you were trying to or not, you sound just like mick. the playing is excellent all the way around. i agree w/ true-eurt about the feedback in the first verse, but thats just personal taste. theres nothing at all wrong with it if you like it there. the guitar tones are awesome, the bass is great, and the drumming - as always - is superb. the production and mix sound perfect too. super-excellent job all-around. :)

Sorry folks I LOVE the feedback - primal screaming!! If anything I thought it a tad restrained.
Nice mutation of the bass line Rami - gives it a flavour upgrade as well as stamping your mark on the piece.
When the "whole band" stomps in it's really kick into another gear. I like.
DRAT - that's three people this month who've fooled me into commenting on their covers.
Couldn't help myself though. Very meaty. Very beaty, Very big & bouncy. (Who Choon next?)

Thanx alot True...Yeah, I wanted those bongos dry so that when I come in with everything else, it has a bigger effect. I think the problem is that on the original, it's congas, which sound a lot bigger. I only have a shitty pair of bongos. The shakers I used are 2 different size pepper shakers.

I listened to the feedback again this morning, I really didn't find it that loud, but I'll see if it bothers me with more listens.

The crowd sounds are from a live Stones album...I like it because you hear a girl saying "Paint it Black you Devil..." and anyone who knows that album knows that they go right into Sympathy after the clip I stole...So that's my little tribute to "Get yer ya-ya's Out".

Thanx alot for the comments, True....XOXOXO

Greg...thanx buddy...Actually, your version of "Paint it Black" inspired me to re-do this. I had done a version of this before, but after hearing you do "Paint it Black", I said I have to finish this one up. Thanx for all the comments. The Stones are always fun to play because you can be a little sloppy and still rock out.

Thanx Ray...hehe....You're getting sucked into all these cver tunes...Maybe you'll put one soon too. :D :p

Thanx Cobber.

Dig the upbeat intro...and I like the feedback, gives it a raw feel.Love the pause before the band kicks in...classic man! Great guitar RAmi, definitely has a live "Get Yer Ya-Ya's out" vibe.I liked this the 1st time you did it,but this is killer...Great job!!!

Thanx Variax....I'm sick of re-recording this utne. I've done it a few times now...Time to move on. I'm glad the guits work. I tried combining a bit of the studio version with the "Ya Ya's" version....thanx alot.

Thanx alot Eck. You're probably the person the most responible for me working on and improving my guitar sound. When I first did a version of this about a year ago, you kept trying to help me with my guitar sound, insisting there's something wrong. Sure enough, I had the set up all wrong and worked on it to get it where it is today, which is beter for sure...So, thanx for that. :)

wow. kick ass. im flattered. maybe we can do an all-stones compilation album. :p

Dogman probably said it best ;) hot bass and drums throughout this tune.

Anybody ever tell you that you sound like Mick? Forgot for a bit that I was listening to a remake.....

Very cool bongos in the beginning. The feedback is tasty.

The rhythm guitar is super cool - you know how hard it is to play like Richards? You blend the rhythm/lead style well. Excellent job there.

Nice ooh oohs - just barely perceptible but still right there - nice mixing.

Cool interlude in there....gives it that true "live" or "60" feel to it.....

The guitar are very true to the original - nice playing and tone.

Excellent!

:) :D :) :D

Nice version man, I like the Jagger aproach you got here.
Kinda adapted to his awsome stage prescensce.

Nice and clean recording, cool bongo`s and the guitars are smoking.

Sounds like a fun tune to do :)

cheers bud

IDO: Thanx alot for your usual insight. The original studio version has no rythm guitar, it's all piano except for the solos. So all the rythm I'm playing is right off the "Get yer Ya Ya's Out" Live version. I'm glad it works. For that matter, the studio version has no drums either, so, when I go into the "whole band" part, that's all pretty much from the live version too. I love playing the rythm part to this tune and it was fun to learn. I'm glad most of you feel the feedback works. If anything, I find it too low, but I'll leave it ther because I want it subtle.

Nak, thanx alot. I used to cover the Stones alot (who didn't) when I was gigging, so I've been singing him for a "long long year":) I only wish I had congas instead of bongos, but it's better than nothing.

Tyanx alot guys. :)

Rami:

Sounds amazing!

Percussion and bass on begin (bass much, much better than original)
Excelent Stereo shakes
Killer "Mick" vox sound... Maybe better voice eq I heard on your recordings.
The "key"(don´t know if is same as original) combines very well with your voice.
(Mick said is a "samba".I know samba, "sympathy" is not a samba! :D

What more can I say?
DRINK MORE AND MORE!
(´cause mix is very good) :D
