Symetrix 525 Compressor Stereo or Two Channel?

I have a Symetrix 525 Stereo Compressor, but if I try to use the second channel I get no signal. Is the supposed to only work as a stereo unit or single channel, and not as two separate channels? I have two condenser mics, plugged into two preamps, and then into the compressors two channels, and out to my Delta 1010 inputs. The first channel works, the second doesn't? What gives? Any idea?

Stereo link switched off? It's an idea, just not a good one...

It says master on channel 1 and slave on channel 2. I don't know it doesn't seem to work with both.
