check out today's harmony-central... Fender bought SWR sound ... sad sad sad sad... they will start producing amps in Mexico and Cal.... sad sad sad.

I ordered one, thankfully it was a "nos" from 2002.
 
I dunno, Fender bought Guild and moved 'em to Corona and they're making great product.

I have got a Pre-Fender SWR!... it is only a Woking Man line:)

Maybe it will double in value on e-bay if I bill it as Pre-Fender..LOL

Hey who sold it to Fender?

Steve W. Rhabe (the original owner- founder) sold it several years ago and runs Raven Labs now.

Oh and who bought Trace Elliott?

I didn't hear about that one.
 
I acutally just found a new forum: talkbass.com. Much info there, als from an SWR employee.

Anyone want to buy my pre-Fender Workinman 12 for $1,500 :D :D
