Nice flowing tune, man. But for the mix, I hear the following: vocals are disproportionate to the guitar slighty, but the drum machine strongly. The middle "solo" part, the picked strings (sounds like finger picking chords on a nylon stringed guitar??) is too forward in the mix, the drum machine seems to fade in and out in volume but is always too light in the mix (except for the intro), the harp was too subdued in the mix during the same solo excerpt.

Thanks, Seeker, I really need to redo this whole tune. Wish I had EZ Drummer, which I plan to buy soon. This is an old version with my dog howling that I thought I'd share. Thanks for listening and I will heed your comments on the next run through.:)

Sounds way too compressed and dry. Seriously lacking low end. Nice song and arrangement though.

Love the dog though! :D

Cool song, I like the playing/vocal...but I agree with the earlier comment that the vocals are just a tad up front and dry....guitar also sounds a bit middy and flat (Playing is great tho' :)) ....the overall mix just needs a bit of tonal dynamics to kinda fill it out imho....enjoyed the listen.

There is a bit of mud happening - the bass is almost lost in it - needs definition.
THe vox are way up front like James might like it but too far for your voice.
The keyboard part starts of well but you need a smoother transition from single notes to chords.
All the previous comments are pretty much spot on - this is worth the effort to tidy up.

His name is Bond, James Bond!

Why the nylon string choice for such a piece? Sounds a bit out of place

Actually I used the nylon string and a Washburn steelstring. (Woodstock)

I love the dog, too - the dog must stay

same comments as everyone - at one point (1:14) the guitar drops out unnaturally in the right channel

Nice performances generally -- the guitar sounds maybe low bitrate (like recorded at 22khz?) what mic(s) did you use? I'd re-do the guitar tracks.

Listen to the song with headphones turned down real low and you'll hear the mixing issues pretty clearly.

Love the song!
