Dogman

Unkle Ticklefingers
REdid the vocals, after I got a compressor. This is 1 take, dry. It needs some eq work, and much more. I am not giving up on cigars and whiskey, so the voice will always suck. Anyway, I did try and "sing it". Sorry.

Please be kind, as I don't want my feelings hurt. :D

Guess you need the link to listen.

this aint bad dude
although
have you ever listened to the end of give it away by the red hot chili peppers? cos if u havent weve just witnessed the biggest coincidence in the world ever. pretty cool riff, and it might just be cos im obsessed with that tune but it really sounds exactly like a slowed down version of it. vocals sound pretty gud, almost like frank zappa.
drummers not bad either.

Thanks olfunk. All the music was recorded by a guy named James Sloan. I then procedded to wreck his stuff with my voice. I got some new equipment, and am trying to learn it, so what better place to start.

Thanks for the listen.

You realize that this is a Black Sabbath cover? The original was recorded when RHCP were probably still wetting the bed. Geez, youngins these days haha. Its cool though, plenty of people have just outright stolen this riff. Listen to Silverchair's "Leave Me out" off their first album "Frogstomp", its so blatantly obvious that they rip this song off.
Dogman nothing against you man but I just don't think your voice is suited torwards this type of song. Ozzy has alot larger range than what it sounds like your capable of. The music sounds pretty good. Its been a while since ive listened to the original but I don't recall that "solo" section being that slow.

Thanks wireneck. Actually, my voice isn't suited to towards any type of music. I just wreck anything I can get my hands on. But I love Sabbath, so had to try it. My last version was even worse, if you can imagine that!!!

Yes I must agree, you're voice does not fit the track at all, and you succeeded in 'wreckage'

ha ha.....at least you're honest about it.....interesting way to hear the song though!

rock on dogman :D maybe you could wreck a tune for me sometime, ha ha. that guy thought RHCP's wrote sweet leaf?

Travis, I can wreck a song in no time. For anyone. Thanks man.

Shit...sorry Dogman... I haven't been through in a few days...

Whiskey and cigars, huh? It only takes beer and cigarettes to wreck my voice!

Rock the phuck on wit' yo bad-self, Dogman!!! :D

Tried to sing it a bit, but it didn't come out very well. I'll get my mic/pre combo figured out one day, and maybe it will even be listenable by then.
