sustain switch

What is the sustain switch for on my radium midi controller.. My guitar seems to plug into it...

i know a sound module should plug there..

It's for a sustain pedal when playing a piano-ish sounds. Don't plug your instrument into the sustain port. You can get a sustain pedal for 15 bucks and up.

your controler is probably programable, if it is the sustain can be swiched to also serve as a start/stop from a foot pedal, anyway mine does.
