Surgery Friday. Keep me In Your Thaughts.

Im having another cervical fusion friday. My third neck surgery and 6th overall in 2 1/2 years. They have to go in from the back of my neck this time and this is the last one I can have. The are putting in wire mesh, rods and taking bone from my hip to place in with it. So I will be down and out for a while. My wife is keeping me on a short leash this time. Im usually sneaking and doing stuff I not suppose too (playin guitar and such). But I can no longer be stupid and take chances during recovery. Anyway wish me luck. I'll be in for a few days and hopefully will be home next monday. Goin to Cleveland for the surgery and cant even go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
 
I don't think you and I have ever interacted here at HR, but I wish you luck. I have a bone spur growing that fucks with me now and again, so I'm sympathetic. :cool:
 
Best of luck Bushmaster. Take it easy and get better. Your guitar and everything will still be there once you're well. :)
 
Thanks for all the thoughts. I always get a little nervous before. My brother callled and was concerned I did a cover of Alice Coopers "Man of the Year". The guy in the song kills himself and my brother said "do ya think something is gonna happen". I told him thanks for scarin me. :)

Im not tellin the doctors Im a Bengals fan. Oh well Cleveland won Sunday anyway (fluke) :) Its at the Cleveland Clinic so they should know what they are doin. :)
 
Good luck! Have you ever had the hip bone thing done before?
My buddy had that. That should help keep ya down and mellow.
