First and foremost, I thank all of you here for all of this knowledge you've shared. Taught me a lot. My issue is that when I to used other studios, I could hear myself in the headphones as I spoke but for some reason, I can't with my setup. I'm using CEP/Adobe Auditon 1.5 to record vocals. I ran my mic into my US-122 and set CEP to receive info from it which is cool to record on. The only problem is, while I'm speaking, I can't hear myself in the headphones  . What the hell am I doing wrong??

I don't understand a lot of the stuff you've mentioned but if you don't have a full duplex card you won't be able to record & play simultaneously.

I'd dare say any card you'd find today would be full duplex. They all started becoming full duplex around the SB Live era.

Your post doesn't make much sense but I think what you're looking for is a 'monitoring' option. You can either unmute the line in in your audio mixer panel (bottom right hand corner) or their should be a monitoring option in your Software. Look in the manual for it's location.

Your interface should have some kind of software mixer or control panel, or something. I've never used the US-122, but there should be a little icon for it in the bottom right corner of the screen. Open that up and look for a monitoring option. Or take a screen shot of it and post it here.

The US122 has direct monitoring of what's coming in through a mike before it goes to the computer. Plug the headphones into the headphone jack on the US122. Turn on the "Direct" switch. Turn up the level on the "Direct Monitoring" volume knob. Turn up the level on the "Headphones" knob. If you're multitracking, you'll need to balance the level of the playback of the multitrack software with the max level the US122 can provide for the direct monitoring. I usually end up turning the multitrack software 2 bus down a bit and having the direct monitoring volume knob all the way up.
