Delegation is quite a neat beat - I really like the build-up at the start

Laid Out seems to be an OK idea but those bells (I think that's what they are anyhow) keep coming in too late - you dum-ba-dum-dum-bum-dum-ba-dum-dum-....... then you want the bells (e.g. on the beat) but they don't come, they come about a beat later and it throws the whole thing off

On a brighter note I like Portland Av. & Franklin though some of the changes between different parts is a bit dodgey

Delegation's probably the best here.

Thanks for listen to those tracks.... The second beat I did 2 years ago..... Might not be as tite as the other two...

Thanks again...

Delegation - not bad throw in a misc sound efect ocassionally

Laid-Out - not feeling this one too much. everything is so soft, theres nothing dominating here. it would make nice background music for a skit or an interlude

P & F - Hmmm

Raticus,

Just listened to these but the board decided to delete my reply. I'll sum it up.

"P&F" - I like the guitar sample you're using. The string pad you have building up at the end of the 2 Bar is a cool effect, but is offkey and is throwing me off. Drums are hard and tight as usual.

"Delegation" - Funky shit here. Really liking the guitar and piano samples here and the drums help to solidify that funk feel. This is the one of tighest track I've heard from you. Feeling it.

Nice work Raticus

YO rat DIggy where ya been boi.
That delegation joint is off the hook
on the edge of your seat type of cut could be a classic

P&f I couldn't feel that one. I felt like it needed a hard bass to balance out the guitar and pads

Laid out sounded like some underground joint smooth though.

these are just my thoughts

the first beat to me, pianos are way to up front, actually they scare me a lil through my headphones as i listened to them. Nice beat hidden under those......pianos;)

the second beat, has nice lil groove happening wit it, but all the extra stuff sprinkled through out the song at some points leaves me  perplexed,:D because it kinda makes me loose my groove, but then:eek: it comes back:p

the third beat..........???

hey i cam people listened post my comments if u could go listen to my first beat.....http://artists.iuma.com/IUMA/Bands/LDYLEE/

What up Rat?

I had peeped these a minute back... Just wasn't down for criticing at the time.

Anyhows...

Delegation is tight but seems like something is missing. Something to take the edges off. I can't call it. With the funk feel I'm hearing some funk types of percussion to.

Laid out is real interesting. Somebody could really catch cats off guard on this one. That doulbe kick is smooth shit doc. If so that shit is dope and needs to come up. The stutters (dint, dint, dint, dint) are a tight effect. Digging the mellow grim of this one.

Portland Av. ???..............Listening..........Listening.......... Trying to pin point what it is I'm liking about the track.....I can't call it. But I like it. Mad confusing though... Naw... I got it. I'm digging it. I'd want that intro stutter to come back in and lead in a chorus.

Keep up the good work D. Peace.
