suggestions please! lookin for a new acoustic guitar

--I have played guitar for 16 yrs. now and I want an acoustic that is worthy of recording my solo stuff. Willing to spend around $300 maybe more. My style is like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, John Butler etc., I play some fingerstyle classical stuff also.

--I currently have a fender DG21 nat its worth like $150 bucks its got me by but I want to upgrade to something with warmer tone and better playability.

--any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'll probably get laughed off the forum . . . but I love my Cort. It's a korean brand that I found when I was stationed there. I get a lot compliments on my tone and I only spent about $250. So you may look there. I really like mine a lot.

Try looking for a used Taylor Big Baby

Or maybe find a used low end Martin Jack uses those last I checked....

Or try out a Breedlove Atlas series guitar, I can't remember them making one less than $500 but you might get lucky if you dig around, and the do sound HUGE!
