I think it's all ready for vocals, ya. I think the only thing I'd like to hear different is the end. Instead of fading maybe just cut it off clean. Great mix so far.

You had me thinking this was a soft ballad when it first started playing :p . Then it just rocks right out!

Bass feels a little heavy on my headphones in the intro but sits quite nicely throughout the remainder.

Cool interlude at 2:30....gives it a nice sense of change......

Whoever is playing drums is doing an amazing job. Guitar and bass playing is equally impressive.

I'm not all that familiar with the genre so I'll not be able to compare to "another band".

It gives off a high sense of power, urgency and strength.

Would like to hear more of your tunes - they are well done.

And maybe add vocals when you can and repost this one.....

Can you share some of your recording setup with us ?

:D :) :D :)

Sounds good the guitars could use a little bit of mids though.
You have a good rumbling bass sound - the stranglers would approve I'm sure.
I'm listening on speakers through an old amp but there doesn't seem much bass drum apart from clicking.
You seem to have scooped the mids throughout actually. Good for bass definition but I'm not so sure across the whole mix.
The mid knob on an amp is often called the presence control for a reason.
Good work & follow both sets of advice given before me.
Now for a melody & a voice to carry it.

Thanks, i'll try and have the vocals up within a couple days. Ill mostly likely need some help on getting those to sound good. As far as my setup, i have a behringer EURODESK SL2442FX, Audio Technica mb 1k, CAD 7-Piece Drum Pack, and behringer uca202 interface. Pretty crappy stuff except for the mixer but somehow it works out. Thanks again

Pretty good, man. I find the guitars a little overpowering, but that might be what this type of music needs. I really like your drummer. He's steady and grooves well. I'd love to hear this with vocals. Keep it up, it's great so far

Great playing, you guys are nice and tight... Guitars may be a bit loud in the high end though, I'm listening through headphones though... I did notice some crackling too.

Main gripe, for this type of music the kick drum needs to be distinct. The kick has what seems to be no low end to it and just sounds like a "puff" kind of sound. Snare sounds good though, same with cymbals. With the kick, it may be a limitation of the mic you are using if you went with a cheapo. Thats a problem I had many moons ago when I had some cheapo drum mics.

yeah im pretty sure thats its clipping (the overal file) and the guitars need to be a little lower with less highs

Sounds pretty good, I like
The guitars do sound thin to my ear. I'd work the EQ, drop the high end some and raise the midrange. Also maybe add some verb on the clean intro gutiar.
Drums rock, and bass sounds good on my system. Maybe drop the volume on the guitars some too.
At 2:42 there's that background part, can't tell if that's another guitar or synth... nothing wrong with that, just an observation.
Good stuff man, good luck with the vocals!
