I'm always looking on e-bay for good deals, usually you'll find nice buys but every once in a while you'll come across some people that just want to rip you off.

This one cracks me up. This guy is selling a Bolt kit guitar. You can buy the kit for $339.00 or you can buy the guitar assembled by Carvin for over $600.00. They are asking $1,000.00???!??!?

Shit, I think I'll put up my 40th Anniversary American Strat on e-bay for $4,000.00 starting bid and with a low "buy it now price" of $6,500.00.
 
well, you can't blame them for trying:-)

I worked in a second hand music store for a while and you won't believe how many people try to sell their stuff at insane prices.

It seems that every one is trying to make a quick buck these days. I am totally amazed by the ebay business that are out there.

yea thats stupid. I always wonder why people on ebay buy rnc compressors used for 160 when you can get the whole thing brand new for 175 with paperwork and shipping.
 
Well the great thing is that I wrote an e-mail to the first one showing the the same guitar with all the options directly from the Carvin website, and they got all pissed off saying that it wasn't the same guitar. So I just laughed it off... Wrote them back and told them "people this is not a 1986 Paul Reed Smith custom 22 with a 10 top and birds, this is a Carvin for gods sake"
Didn't hear back from them again...

Oh well.

Those idiots crack me up, I always email em and tell em what kinda idiot would pay more for something used than they could get brand new... One guy didn't know and lowered his price and thanked me, another got pissed off and said "dont buy it then"... what a dummy...LOL

That retard with the Carvin kit strat said its "hand assembled".. duh, as opposed to what, assembled by a machine?....:D :p
 
Yeah, I guess they feed off ignorance.
For every 100 persons that see the ad I'm sure that there is at least a couple of peeps that think its a great deal.

I acually want that 8mm camera.............still thinking about. I don't know jackshit about them. But I think it might be cool to have. ..and fun.

This all inspired me to get off my ass and get my dads quadrophonic AKAI reel to reel. Setting it up tonight. I hope it still works:)

He still has the Pioneer reciever too.:D
