I find it hilarious when people try these old "marketing techniques". One word, mysterious, expecting to create some kind of "mystique" and create curiosity and intrigue. :laughings:

What's even stupider is when these geniuses think the best place to "market" themselves is on forums where nobody but musicians hang out. :D :D :D

But its worked!

stutterhouse is famous now...
I hope he starts a thread for the newbies...

I know you're kidding (or at least I hope you are).

But one thing many people don't realize about "Thread views" is the amount of spam-bots that automatically distort the amount of views on any thread. Ever notice that there are always a bunch of "guests" viewing a thread. Those aren't real people, but they count as "views".

But even if everyone one of those 216 views was an actual person, so what? People click on threads out of curiolity. It means nothing as far as promoting his "music". Especially since he forgot to post a link. :D

These guys are a Rap Duo - google 'em. They have all sorts of Internet presence. Move this thread to the Marketing Dept. or DJ Hip Hop. They are not newbs....

yeah it was a joke ;)

i dont think people know that the users on this site are here primarily for themselves-either to help someone or get help. not to become a youtube viewer :laughings: or googler

Ha - I couldn't resist.... It is funny and true - the dudes will get nowhere posting on a musician's web site.

"Hey did you hear about Stutterhouse?" Nope.......

Maybe if they danced around and did something funny or unique on Youtube and sent it to the local TV station ....

I knew as soon as I saw that that the aim of the post was to get people to look up "stutterhouse"
