@HumanPlanet , Hey thanks (again) for your evaluation. What I am hearing on this version , is an increase in the highs. especially in the left guitar. It's really bringing out the finger squeeks and overall the track sounds pretty brittle. I'm assuming this is the downloaded version from Soundclick. ?? Playing them both side by side I'm thinking the original version could use some high end taming. I didn't add any highs while mastering (outside of the project) so I guess the boosting and processing brought them up on the original. I'll do some more critical listening and make some changes. 👍 Thanks .. mark

Hi Mark

Don't do anything based on the file I attached. That file has boosted highs and cut lows just to make any clicks more audible if they exist and to see if I am hearing something on my system that others aren't hearing, it's not meant as any kind of comment on your mix.

Your performance on this project was wonderful. Can't wait to hear what's coming next!

Yes , I eventually realized that. 👍What you did was uncover quite a few spots in the left guitar track that needed attention , as well as a mild EQ adjustment as well. I soloed the track and fixed the bad spots. The link now reflects that remix. If I didn't screw up during re-mastering , I'll be happy with it. All the suggestions you've made in the past have been 100% correct and if you even "think" you hear a problem .. I'm checking it out. Thanks .. mark

Can you hear them in this version or do I have a problem with my monitoring?

I'm absolutely ashaimed of myself...

The 'smilier' quality of the version you posted brings out notes at certain frequencies, but I don't hear any pops and clicks. The bass notes almost sound like plosives sometimes. And that left guitar sounds a bit funny when the highs are hyped. But I don't think it's pops and clicks. :-)

Nice to listen to the tune again. (y)

I'm pleased to help in any small way I can!

This had me questioning myself and in Marks words: 'I'm calling this one "done" and moving on'... in a good way.
