Stupid Question

I had been trying to record through my stock soundcard, and the results were noisy, so I was advised to get an audio interface. I did so (a Lexicon Lambda) and its much cleaner sounding, but now it only seems to record sound in the left channel. How can I correct this? Any advice?

It's not recording "on the left" channel. It's recording on "channel 1" or "channel A".

You're trying to record a mono source to a stereo track. Don't do that.

And, I have read (never used, just passing along) threads on here about Lexicon interfaces. They have never been good. Always something to do with crappy drivers. Hopefully you got a good one.
