Stupid Noob question... I apologize in advance

I use Reaper... and obviously I mix in reaper. but I want a desktop unit that i can physically turn the knobs and slide the volume controls and have it respectively controll the digital reaper mixer..... what do I buy to accomplish this?

DAW control surface, something like this. There are other, more affordable, options with fewer knobs. I have no clue what may be compatible with Reaper.

Buying advice suggests that when buying cheap, always go for knobs because they are generally more robust than motorized sliders. It's difficult to make motorized sliders at such a cheap price so the trade off is having the more sturdy knobs - which I think is just as good, really.
