Are you sure about the cherry desk? Black is more rock'n'roll.. :)

Congrats, I don't think anyone's posted a link to a desk in the Newbies forum before...

All looks good, not that I'd know (you'll get a real answer soon, I'm sure... it all looks fairly standard newbie kit - there are other options that others may prefer for your interface..) and if you every fall off the path you'll be able to use exactly the same gear to record the Devil's music as well...

Good luck. And don't forget to buy some of them cably things to hook it all together..

How many tracks are you going to be recording?

If you've got a macbook already, there should be no harm in trying it out. If it's not cutting it, then sell it on and buy a pc. (I may be biased :))

You've been wondering why you're having trouble getting actual sounds down, haven't you! :laughings:

Look, this is bugging me... I know what time it is where I am... 1.45 in the afternoon and raining torrentially in Sydney, Orstraya... what's got me beat is that everyone currently posting in the Newbies forum seems to be from Britain/Ireland... and according to the world clock thingy on my iPhony, it's 4.45 in the morning over there...

Don't you people sleep?

NOT when there is forums like this ...tell me more about those cable things!.! :laughings:

3K...... you might want to rethink your microphone selection. Take a read of the first 3 or 4 of the sticky threads under microphones.;)

It's 5:36 now. I was waiting for the day somebody would (out of the blue) ask that question.

I can only speak for myself here, but I have a problem :o

This place ain't even interesting enough to stay up for
