For those of you who accept recording clients, how many recording tracks do you have and what do you charge for different related recording services?
Thanks,
BG/HSG

"How many recording tracks do you have?"

I don't know if I know what you are asking. How many tracks I can record in my DAW? I wouldn't base my rate on that, if that's what you are asking.

well im just a lil guy.....

10 channels (digital) in with mediocre mics.. current special = Demo Deal 6 hours for $100 bucks, then $10/hr ... damn thats cheap!!!

I'm not basing tracks to rates as software with the right hardware can provide unlimited tracks.

I probably should have said it better, "give me an idea of your studio set-up, primary equipment, and what you charge."

Example, mine is a one room studio in my home, recording to an AW16G and monitoring on Alesis M1's. I have available for use a bass amp, guitar amp, a POD XT, Ensoniq KS32 keyboard, a nice KAWAI upright piano, Focusrite and ART low/midrange preamps, acoustic and electric guitars and a bass guitar. My mics are: sE SE2200A, CAD M9, SE Titan and sE SE3.
I am charging $15/hr

Thanks for the question!!!! :o
Hopefully it will help with responses.

With my setup I can track 24 Chanel at a time. Mix unlimited tracks.
Around 32 mics in my collection. I have 2 drum kits 4 basses and 6 guitars, a few amps.

Most of the stuff I do for free. If I do charge it is around $10 an hour.
Once I feel my skills are better I will charge more. I am still in the learning process.

I also have an upright grand piano, hammond m2, hammond m3.
