Studio Question

Well i tried this usb omega thing and i had huge latency problems on a fairly new dell and the whole computer recording thing just wasnt for me. Anyways I have saved some money, bought a few mics and just recently bought a Boss Br-1200cd recorder. Its a pretty nifty little thing. It just seems like every home studio I look at has a computer in it and it makes me wonder if that was the way to go. Plus is there any way i can incorpurate a computer into my Br-1200cd or should I just roll with what i got.

do YOU like it? do YOU like working on the computer more, or on the unit? maybe download a trial version of a program. acid, cubase...etc and see if you like it.

you can hook that thing to your computer. read your manual it has a usb ability so you can share the recorded files with your computer.
