This is confusing... You said "In PMI Audio's defence... I am NOT on PMI Audio's payroll, and I never have been on PMI Audio's payroll... and I don't believe PMI Audio would ever do what you guys are accusing them of doing. Then you said you believe we may be using more than one user name or ISP number.

So you don't believe would ever do that, yet you believe we would. I believe you are spending too much time in the barn again messin with those animals.

It's unbelievable to me Alan that you are a spokesperson for PMI. I would never buy a mic from your company........just because of your childish remarks. Very unprofessional.

Très intéressant.....

Are these planned to be ready by the first quarter of 2005? If so, are there going to be any sneek-previews anytime soon? And if not...can you give us anymore info on the new lines, or is that still top secret?

Well, I would rather just leave it as it is coming. We have been in the past releasing information on new products early, only to find out we have run into big delays, then see another manufacturer come out with that type of product before we do.

So, top secret is a big word, we will just hold our tounge until the product is ready to ship. All we will say, is new product is coming.

is there a large diaphragm dynamic in the works?.....

We have been looking at that for a long time. We have had working prototypes for a long time. I just think we can not compete in that arena with Shure, Audix, and EV. As such, it seems pointless to try. Handheld condenser...well we could, but should we, or just stick to recording applications?

Understandable....just keep us posted. I'm anxious to see what you guys have in the works. :)

That's a limited application. Your name is Studio Projects, that's your niche.

It's quite a large niche. Studio Projects will expand within the recording niche. I would like to see:

Hypercardiod caps for the C4 series.

A ribbon that competes favorable with the AEA 84 or Royer 121.

A true high voltage, tranny based tube pre/di that competes with the mid level units (Sebatron, Manley, etc.)

A mixer.

That's cool. But can you just say if you are going to be sort of replacing current mics, or introducing higher quality mics similar to current ones?

I am just wondering if there is anything coming that would make it worth it for me to wait on picking up a pair of C4s, particularly. ;)

Well, there will be an update to them, but not until 2nd Q of 2005. So any wait will be up to you. In the meantime, the C4's still get great comments all time.
