If they are out on April 16th I'll certainly buy a pair. I really could use another pair of SD condensers. Whats cool is that you get a case and shockmounts, which probably explains the extra $69 of the $369.99 price. I think it is worth it though and commend Alan on thinking of the little things.

*Alan if you are around could you give me the skippy on these mics. Are they intended to be neutral, or have a sound of their own? Also are these mics intended to model say a "classic mic" response curve like say a C12 or KM84?

Hmm..I might buy a pair too

I dont like my overheads pretty much. They are a bit too midrangey. So i'll wait a few month a look if I can replace my MXL1006 with the C4 kit. I own a C1 and I really like it, so, I guess the C4 wont desapoint me.
