Studio Projects C1 Pre Amp?

I have Studio Projects C1 Mic, that I run into a Digi 002, I use to have a Grace Design 101 but I just sold it because I couldn't get the sound I was looking for. I'm recording hip hop and want my vocals to stand on top of the beat, thinking about getting a eureka pre amp is this a good match up for my mic, or does anyone have any better ideas?

...actually, I've had some good results with the C1 (pop screen required) and other similar (bright) mics, running them thru a Groove Tubes Brick > RNC combination...doing some dancehall reggae stuff (similar to hiphop, at least in terms of dynamics)...a few dollars more than the Eureka (which I also have) but more suitable to the style/genre...

The Tampa or the RNP is probably gonna make you more happy than that Eureka will...IMO, but it might be time to move to a better mic too, like the NTK or a 4047 or something along those lines.
