Studio projects C1 cutting in and out- low output

My Studio projects C1 has started cutting in and out. I first thought It was the phantom power on my pre but further testing proves otherwise. I don't know what it could be? what happens if a transformer is going bad? I have not plugged it in in a few days because I don't want to damage it more but I can't just let it sit here forever. If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very thankful.

Assuming the capsule isn't too moist, it's likely to be a cold solder joint. Failing that, my next guess would be a dendrite in a capacitor.
