The results of your test don't surprize me much.


Aside from the mxl603, I've found just about every Marshall mic I've either owned or played with to be pretty much complete, worthless garbage, and this test kind of supports that notion.

I think the Marshall MXL603S is one of the best acoustic instrument mic's.
