I think a lot of folks would love to try one of these mics...the problem, the Chinese are on holiday right now, so they have been shipped into the U-S yet. What type of mic are you looking for and for what. The C-1 (and don't let Gidge say differently) is a fine mic...so is the mxl67g!

lavoz, find me a post where i said that the C1 was anything les than a fine mic and ill kiss youre sweet ass in the middle of Times Square at high noon........

the v67 is also a fine mic, $129 at Mars.....

and they are both available now.....

How is Alan going to keep the Behringer B1 seperated from the studio progects B1.

this has potential to get somewhat ugly with both companies coming out with mics with the same model no.

Simple... the Behringer is B2 and the SP is B1.

That would have been simple if Behringer had not recently released a B1.

Or if Hammond didnt have a B3. I predict legal hassles unless if Alan changes those model No.

Don't forget the B3 wanna be program the B4.

Also, J17

You've sunk my battleship!

:):)

Hey Gidge,

It was all in jest, my friend!

Slam,

There are so many choices out there, you don't have to wait for the B-series to arrive at your favorite music store. The 67 is nice (right Gidge?) and so is the C-1, then there's those cheap as you know what GT mics. Man, its great to be alive today!

its cool lavoz....

i usually recommend the v67 and c1 side by side, but the v67 is closer to the price point of the b1 and the c1 is way out of the ball park......

I seem to recall the C1 being 175.00.

You remember that thread you all ruined accusing Alan of spamming. He was offering it at 175.00

I suppose you didnt read those posts. before the spam patrol came in and ruined it for everyone.

Dont look now but It looks like Harvey is saying his goodbyes in the Im going to buy a new mic thread.

Darrin, in alot of ways i like you...in person, i bet we could be good friends...but with just printed words on the screen, its hard for me to believe you ever take your head out of your ass....

but when you do, i i cordially invite you to kiss my black ass....

the c1 is $229.......no way around that.......

i remember a thread where Alan offered some of the older model c1's without the pad and the bass rolloff for $175...excellent deal....as a matter of fact, i posted links to his thread myself in at least 2 or 3 different forums.....then after i did all that spamming on his behalf he pulled the offer...do you have an opnion on that?......so pleeze let me know if im part of the "you all" that accused Alan of spamming....

Hey Gidge,

I think Darrin might have been thinking about the time (oh, about a month ago) Alan had a C-1 that was blemished, or something to that extent. The C-1 at $229 is a good deal. I paid $245 for my CAD E100 more than 2 years ago and the C-1 blows it out of the water, for what I use it for. It's a shame, because I like the E100, but find little use for it today.

For your Information I bought my c1 six months ago for 175.00 with shockmount. You can bargain with the local distributers.

the 135.00 for the v67 plus 50.00 for shockmount adds to more money for the marshall.

I hope you have wiped your ass today Gidge. Because if its as brown as you say it is you are in for a rash.

I do have you to thank for a deal I did today on an AT pro 25 kick drum mic. I showed the dealer the page at 8th street music and his used mic came down from 80.00 to 35.00. Naturally I bought it despite a scratch, It works perfectly Thanks.;)

By the way he hasnt pulled the offer,You just have to Email him privetly.

It still isnt too late.

what dealer was it? local or internet? (on the PRO25)

also, specify if you want the left cheek, right cheek, or the good ol' brown eye kissed.......

just like you can bargain for the C1, you can do with the v67 also....i bought my v67 when Mars had it for $159(or was it 169), no shockmount....Abe Music matched it with the v67G with shockmount and cable......

either way, c1 or v67, great mics......

I can dig that. The local dealer was Monster music,Bricks and morter.

It was a used piece, I Think I got a good deal, but I dont pay full price for anything. I did test it before I left the place.

The mic I'm dying to try is the SP B-3.Multipattern LD for $149 street-wow!I know it won't be the sonic equivalent of the C-3 but as long as it doesn't have the harsh high end of some other cheap LDs.I'm hoping it's fairly neutral sounding but a little warmth wouldn't be bad I guess.

I want one NOW!!Well I guess I could wait until I actually have sold my MD4s! :D
