Take A Poll.....Your opinions Please!

Which one for vocals and acc. guitar. Thanks!

I own both (actually a B3, not B1), but I haven't used either on many different sources yet. Through my Joemeek pre, I prefer the B3 for acoustic gtr and our lead singer's voice, and the v67 for my voice. It depends on the flavor you want. I also like the B3 on my guitar amp.

I have a 67,it's great on both vocals and acoustic guitar.

I too have both. This is not what you're looking for, but the real answer is... you want both of them. They are different and quite complementary.

the 67 is, to my ear, a slightly darker or thicker mic. Great proximity effect, good for a "big" sound. Too muddy for some voices, however.

The B-1 is a jack of all trades. It's fairly neutral (for the price, of course!), moreso than the 67. In my room, it works better on a bigger, powerful voice because it doesn't accentuate the mids.

My 2 cents.
