Does anyone know of any good flat response headphone for $150 or less?

Another question:
Since most speaker/headphones out there on the consumer market are NOT flat response and usually have enhanced highs and lows, what is the point of mixing with flat response headphones? Since people will be listening to your music with 'colored' headphones anyway

There are quite a few pretty good headphones in that range, though "flat" is kind of a tricky (and personally variable) issue when it comes to headphones. Here are two:

AKG - whatever the current model is in that price range
Audio-Technica ATH-M40fs

There are more.

Mixing with headphones is not a good idea, no matter how "good" they are.

Good speakers and a well treated room are of utmost importance.

Oh really? I never thought of it like that. As someone who is just getting into the world of recording, I can't afford to dedicate a whole room to recording. I'm almost 21, living with a roommate in his grandparent's house lol, so options are limited, but I will definitely keep that in mind

Shit doesn't need to be loud to be accurate. RAMI is correct. Spend the money on monitors and save the headphones for when you're viewing pron and you don't want your grandparents to know.
