I've taken a bunch of digital photos of my acoustic panels and I'd like to post them on the Web somewhere (along with text) to create a step-by-step demonstration of how I assembled and hung them. Some of the free Web-based photo sites I've seen are pretty lame. Does anyone have a good one to recommend? Here are the criteria:

1. It's free.
2. Images are displayed large enough to reveal small details.
3. Titles or captions can be added to each pic.
4. Viewers can access the site without having to register.

Ok there is no catch they also offer a paid service and do make enough money off of that to keep their servers going.

He does't have the site up yet but he may be hosting it at http://www.atgig.com
The atgig site seems to be experiencing a meltdown right now. It won't let me register, and many of its links don't work. Judging by the error messages I'm getting, it seems that the site is overloaded and overwhelmed.

It's also kind of amusing that they advertise "Lasting service" on their home page and in the same breath mention that they've only been in business since April 2005.

I'll try them again later, but this doesn't look promising. In the meantime, does anyone have another free image-hosting site to recommend?

Acrually I have never had a problem with atgig and they are not overloaded cause they have more servers then most places. Just go to the messageboard and state your problem in 24 hours it will be fixed.

Why not post them where they count the most. At an acoustics site where people who are interested would look. Here is a site that one person has a step by step illustration of his COMPLETE studio build. It is NINTY PAGES LONG!!

There is a section for discussion where you could post these. Why use a hosting space? In fact, why not post them here?
Afterall, isn't this a "studio building and display" site?

That's a good question, Rick. I should explain.

I've posted several images on this site and I do find the process to be quick and easy (except that I have to reduce the file sizes to the 64KB limit). What I haven't figured out how to do is place text next to or between the images. All I've been able to do is add images at the bottom of a post, and that's not going to make for a very understandable series of "How-to" photos.

Anyway, I thought I would get a better result if I used a free hosting package that came with web-building tools. Then I could come here to the boards and post a simple link to it.
