Studio desk

I went to the salvation army and bought an office desk for $40 with the corner shape 66x 66" fits perfect in corner and has the holes for all the wires. Tri pod legs so you don't bang your knees.don't have a pic yet in the prosscess of moving but will post when set up.
 
I have built 3 worktables with one to be my studio desk. I used the Stimson Strong Tie hardware for 2x4 construction and 3/4" plywood for flat surfaces. Their system, construction glue, and imagination will provide a piece of "furniture" that you can drop a engine block on and not even see it shake!

One word of warning. Build it where you want it as moving it will take 10 GOOD friends and passing through any door opening will depend on your engineering.

My last 2 I installed cast iron casters. Now I can roll the benches while packed with 17 amps on one and 26 guitars with more amps and stuff. Before I could only move the empty benches with my tractor!
