What is a good source of knowledge on all the considerations needed in constructing (presumably from scratch) a top notch music studio?

Look for a book authored by F. Alton Everest. I forget the title... something along the lines of studio construction.
 
It's called "studio construction on a budget." I have a copy, and personally, I like the stuff on the SAE site better.
